Dr. Patrice Covington
Dr. Covington started Mitchell Mill Animal Hospital in 2002. She is a 1996 graduate of North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Covington currently shares her home with 10 cats, 12 dogs, and 6 pygmy goats. All of the cats are from rescue sources, and most of the dogs are also from rescue. Her dogs include a lab, several lab mixes, 2 boxers, a Pomeranian, 2 Chihuahuas, and a 3 legged dog that had a fractured leg when she was rescued from the pound as a puppy. Dr. Covington had to amputate the back left leg due to the severity of the injury but that dog out-runs, out-jumps and out-swims all of her 4 legged dogs.

Hey! I'm Roxane and I live in Wendell with my boyfriend. I have lived in North Carolina for 6 years and I love it here...well except for my allergies. I was a military brat growing up . I have lived in Missouri, Florida and California. I have 5 dogs: Bo, Luke, Dixie, Drill Bit and Daisy. I love working here and look forward to seeing your pet.

I was married in 2007 and recently moved to North Carolina from New Jersey. I have 3 cats Neo, Nala, and Sherona and 2 dogs; Kobe and Drake. I love working with animals and especially the puppies. I hope one day to be a Veterinarian.

I was born right outside of Richmond. Va and have lived in North Carolina since 1992. I now live in Raleigh with my dog Rhea and 2 cats, Karma and Spitz. Often times we have a foster kitten or puppy at home too. I went to Meredith College but have found working with animals is my true passion. I volunteer lots of my time with 2PawsUp, a shelter rescue, and that's how I got plugged into Mitchell Mill Animal Hospital. Hope to see you next time you bring your furry one into the clinic.

I have lived in the Raleigh/Wake Forest area my whole life. I got involved with Mitchell Mill Animal Hospital in 2006 as a volunteer and am now an employee. I recently adopted two kittens named Horatio and Baxter and they are the rulers of my house. I love to play with all the dogs and cats that come in and out. I currently attend North Carolina State University (Go Pack!) and I plan on one day becoming a Veterinarian.
